Clinical Program Coordinator
The candidate will under general supervision of the Clinic Director, oversee law school clinic personnel and daily operations. Will develop and implement clinic policies and procedures. Serves as liaison between clinic faculty and students; compiles data, prepares reports and assists with grant applications; creates and directs special projects including the Warming Center Clinic for first-year law students and the Incubator Program for select recent graduates; provides administrative support for the clinic taught by the Clinic Director, and provides administrative support for the externship program and other long-term projects and programs in the clinical department. Plan, direct and supervise the work of support staff employees. Approve time cards and time off requests. Train support staff as necessary. Manage day to day operations of clinical program including management of building and public safety issues. Oversee acquisition of supplies and equipment for each clinic and the building. Responsible for the case management system, including oversight of the system, training, trouble-shooting, application programming, auditing, and maintaining the integrity of the data. Provide administrative support to Clinic Director. Oversee clinic forms, policies and procedures for all clinics, and coordinate professional liability insurance and conference details for clinic professors. Plan and oversee clinic social receptions, as needed. Prepare and maintain current list of externship agencies. Coordinate and assist in externship orientation training for students. Handle routine administrative duties relating to externship program. Working with other support staff, provide orientation training and general oversight of new clinic students. Research and writing of grant applications for clinical program, as needed. Create and direct special projects originating in the clinical program such as the Warming Center Clinics for first-year students and the Incubator Program. Other duties as assigned.
