Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity available for an International Trade Compliance Associate in the Litigation Department of our Cincinnati, OH; Chicago, IL; or Washington, D.C. office. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of EAR and ITAR export controls and OFAC trade sanctions compliance experience. Specific experience with encryption export controls is a plus. Experience with CFIUS, Customs, anti-boycott, and/or FCPA compliance is also a plus. Responsibilities include compliance counseling, preparing submissions to U.S. government agencies for licenses and official determinations, conducting internal investigations of suspected violations and preparing resulting voluntary disclosures to U.S. government agencies, preparing compliance policies and training, as well as conducting pre- and post-acquisition compliance due diligence. All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
