Legal Assistant/Paralegal
The candidate will be working directly with a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer specializing in Personal Injury Litigation (Plaintiff), Professional Liability and Insurance Litigation (Defense). Will be preparing letters of representation, demands and pleadings along with requesting medical records and bills. Monitor and maintain calendars, organize and update case files, communicate with clients, attorneys and insurance companies. On defense cases, duties include all aspects of litigation, billing, and communication with insurance adjusters and clients. Must have strong Pre-Suit and Litigation experience on Personal Injury Cases. Trial experience is strongly preferred. Must be a team player, work well with others and a good communicator. Must have excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple assignments and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong typing skills and extremely computer literate is a must.
