Summary
A
major international law firm is looking for a Legal Technology Trainer
for its San Francisco office. Ideal candidates will have excellent
communication skills with the ability to work individually as well as collaborate
with team members in regional offices. The major focus of this position
will be to familiarize newly hired employees to the firm’s technology product
capabilities as well as provide on-going training sessions to existing
employees.
Responsibilities
The Training Specialist is responsible
for helping staff and attorneys learn and use available technology.
Training delivery includes classroom
training, webinars, individual coaching, support, and document troubleshooting.
The Training Specialist follows
Firmwide standard Lesson Plans when training, but also contributes to the
development of classroom and CBT training curriculums.
Drafting training documents
and communications as needed.
Provides end-user support on
advanced topics as needed.
Manages small course and documentation
development projects.
Develops training materials
following technical documentation best practices.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
2007/2010 products, proper use of Word to construct legal documents and
the use of Document Management is essential
Specific Technologies &
Programs used: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Outlook, Carpe Diem,
Kronos, Concordance, Adobe Acrobat , LegalKEY Recordkeeping
Required
5 years legal technology experience
Must have experience working
within a major law firm
Advance skills utilizing and
training on DOCS Open, Outlook, Word, Excel, Concordance, DocuMatrix, LiveNote
and Relativity
Bachelor's Degree
Flexible for overtime and travel
as needed
