Title Coordinator
The candidate works with multiple parties to coordinate the resolution and completion of the title process. Order, track and deliver title insurance and municipal search orders for title agents. Develop and maintain relationships with title agents, title search vendors and their staffs. Identify potential improvements to title search order and delivery procedures and coordinate with Agency Advisors/ Sales Reps and Managers in the implementation of such improvements. Coordinates multi-site project intake and transaction management. Reviews and validates the accuracy of data contained within mortgage loan files. Verifies file completeness, obtains outstanding title documents, and approves completed files. Performs special projects. Assists with title production support services and settlement services preparation. Facilitate customer requests via email, fax, telephone, etc and manages incoming correspondence. Manage a variety of inventory reports. Update existing inventory in company and / or client operating system(s). Maintain and develop client/attorney-closing relationships. Monitor process and resolve issues to keep process on track. Report issues to manager. Escalate complex title issues to supervisor as needed. Coordinate and schedule with title agents and their staffs regarding the procedures, formatting and special instructions for their title searches. May track foreclosure sale deeds. Adjust pricing on searches as needed. Provide a variety of training needs including internal staff, title agents and their staff, and title search vendors. Proactively track orders using existing systems or find more efficient ways to do so. Should have Working knowledge of company and/or client operating systems. Should have Bachelor's Degree, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent work experience. Should have 5+ years’ experience in escrow/title, as a Paralegal or curative lender role.
