Mobile App eReader
We are looking for a developer to extend our eBooks website and build a custom mobile apps. Currently, the website runs in the mobile but it is slower and has all the features. We want a simple eReader where our readers can read the paid eBooks offline.
Features:
Read only eReader apps that works for both iOS and Android
Downloadable from App store or website
Internal database to store eBooks
- Format can be PDF or any other pub format.
-- Secured and possibly encrypted
-- Data store can only be accessed from the app
-- Pre-loaded with 2-3 free eBooks-
- Can be loaded by the admin with eBook previews (for promotional purposes)
- eBook pages cannot be copied and pasted
Main Application– Bookshelf (same functionality as Moon Reader)
- Displays books covers of bought, free eBooks and eBook previews/promotions
- eBooks can only be added by buying and downloading them from the website downloading them
Book Reader
- Chapter display
- Page scrolling
- Bookmark pages
- Downloaded eBooks can be read offline
Online Features
- Login capability to connect to main website
- Checks if the user is a premium member, I.e. allowed to download books from website (via membership to a group)
- Synchronize and download paid books from website to app (only for premium members)
- Post comments (only for premium members)
- Logout
Customization
- Theme (dark, light, etc.)
- Color, fonts
- User profile picture
Logout
- Clear cache
We expect the source to be part of the deliverables. Preferably 1 source code for both iOS and Android like Flutter.
