Senior Strategic Transactions Officer
The candidate will oversee and manage a fast-paced, high-volume division within the Strategic Transactions Team handling all material transfer (MTAs), data use (DUAs), and non-disclosure (NDAs) agreements; and provide supervision, support, and guidance to strategic transactions officers and others team members in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating these agreements. Responsibilities include supervising the team primarily responsible for drafting, reviewing, and responding to requests from/for third parties in connection with MTAs, DUAs, and NDAs in consultation with OSATT catalysts, alliance managers, and faculty; ensuring that MTAs, NDAs, and DUAs are compliant with policies and compliance requirements and applicable state, federal, and international laws and regulations in consultation with the chief research compliance officer and the Office of the General Counsel; working closely with OSATT director of strategic transactions on participation in strategic planning for the MTA-DUA-NDA team, including improvements to tracking and reporting systems; serving as a subject matter expert on MTAs, DUAs, and NDAs; and providing support and guidance to other OSATT strategic transactions officers in interpreting and harmonizing agreement terms with related research and license agreements. Will report to OSATT’s director of strategic transactions.
