The candidate will assist professor in scholarly work the professor deems appropriate by. Researching topics assigned using Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw and any other appropriate information. Completing various writing assignments as assigned. Completing additional research requests as assigned. Performing edits and citing checks on the professor's articles. Must have excellent analytical and research skills. Self-motivated and meets deadlines. Must have specialized knowledge of Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw information systems. Must have excellent writing skills. Must have extensive knowledge or desire to learn in the specific legal area assigned. Must have successfully completed the first year of Law School and be in good academic standing.
