A law firm seeks a California-licensed Counsel Attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group in Glendale, California, with a preference for Los Angeles or San Francisco locations, though remote arrangements are considered. This role focuses on silica, asbestos, and talc litigation, offering the opportunity to manage complex matters with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with experienced litigators.

Duties

• Handle all phases of complex mass tort litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.



• Manage assigned cases independently while collaborating closely with a team of experienced attorneys across offices.



• Travel periodically for depositions, court appearances, and other necessary proceedings.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in California and be in good standing with the State Bar.



• 2-5 years of litigation experience is ideal for this off-track Counsel position.



• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar license.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within teams.



• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on managing complex case loads.



• Experience with cross-border matters or specific mass torts (silica, asbestos, talc) is desired.
