Duties

• Manage the entire legal process, including investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and court proceedings.



• Conduct depositions, attend oral arguments, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, and negotiate settlements.



• Research applicable laws and precedents to develop effective legal strategies and case theories.



• Examine video, documentary, and physical evidence to support case arguments and defenses.



• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, agreements, and detailed case reports.



• Collaborate with senior attorneys to refine case strategies and report progress to clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.



• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.



• Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and interface professionally with clients and opposing counsel.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active admission to the Texas State Bar.
