Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated entry-level attorney to join its family law team in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a new or early-career attorney to build a strong foundation in family law while working alongside experienced attorneys and receiving hands-on training and mentorship.

Duties

• Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date client files and case records.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, proposed orders, and other family law documents.
• Assist clients with issues involving the division of marital assets, including real estate and other property.
• Represent clients in court hearings and other proceedings as experience and responsibility grow.
• Analyze client matters, identify legal and practical issues, and work with the legal team to develop effective case strategies.
• Communicate regularly with clients and help move cases efficiently from intake through resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required.
