A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate in Houston, TX, to manage complex commercial disputes. The role involves overseeing all phases of litigation, from factual investigations and discovery to trial preparation and client communication. Duties

• Conduct factual investigations, manage discovery, and prepare pleadings for complex commercial matters.



• Take depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and administrative proceedings.



• Communicate effectively with clients to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.



• Second-chair trials or arbitrations, with experience in both state and federal courts preferred.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation.



• Active bar license in Delaware or Illinois, or a commitment to obtain one immediately.



• Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial.



• Proven ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Delaware or Illinois.
