Job Overview

Duties

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Workers' Compensation department and oversee case assignments, deadlines, and workflow.



• Supervise, mentor, and train associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff while maintaining quality control of work product.



• Handle a caseload of Arizona workers' compensation claims, including appearances before the Industrial Commission of Arizona and its administrative law judges.



• Review case strategy, settlements, and filings prepared by department team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.



• Maintain strong client relationships and support the firm's business development efforts.

Requirements

• Hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in Arizona in good standing.



• Demonstrate 3+ years of experience practicing Arizona workers' compensation law with proven hearing and negotiation experience.



• Exhibit excellent verbal and written advocacy skills alongside a strong academic background.



• Show strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to work independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Arizona.
