Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its team in Washington, District of Columbia. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with talented trial attorneys, providing comprehensive support before, during, and after trials. The ideal candidate will develop litigation skills alongside world-class practitioners, executing established legal playbooks to become a polished and well-rounded litigator dedicated to consumer rights.

Duties

• Provide legal support to clients and assist trial attorneys with case preparation and execution.



• Maintain strong client relationships and manage communications throughout the litigation process.



• Prepare demands, legal reports, and documents for cases prior to suit.



• Interact with expert witnesses, including conducting conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits.



• Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.



• Collaborate closely with Litigation Paralegals and Case Managers to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements

• Must be an active member in good standing with the DC State Bar Association.



• Minimum of 1+ years of litigation experience, with personal injury experience preferred.



• Strong interest in Personal Injury Law and a commitment to long-term career growth.



• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills with a detail-oriented approach.



• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.

Education

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the District of Columbia.
