Duties

• Manage and execute legal matters, including scoping, budgeting, and directing timekeepers.
• Serve as the primary client contact, escalating issues when necessary.
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and participate in hearings or trials.
• Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to improving matter plans, templates, and legal products.
• Maintain discipline in timekeeping, service commitments, and budget adherence.
• Identify and document additional client legal needs.
• Conduct alignment conversations to ensure scope and expectations are clear.
• Engage in proactive client outreach.

Requirements

• JD and active Florida Bar membership.
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation.
• Strong advocacy skills in motions, depositions, hearings, and negotiations.
• Ability to work independently within a structured system.
• Strong communication and persuasive skills.
• Experience managing matters with budget discipline and reliable delivery.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)
