The role involves advising innovative life sciences companies on strategic commercial arrangements, including partnering agreements, asset sales, and licensing deals. The position offers early client contact and exposure to a broad range of transactions within the biotechnology and digital health sectors.

Duties

• Advise life sciences clients on strategic commercial arrangements, including partnering, collaboration, and asset sales agreements.



• Negotiate foundational technology licenses with academic institutions and commercial entities.



• Draft and review manufacturing arrangements and other technology-focused operational agreements.



• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm to support the development and commercialization of client technologies.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of transactional and licensing experience.



• Genuine interest and prior experience in the life sciences sector.



• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial practice group that values collaboration and high performance.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills for complex commercial agreements.



• Understanding of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries.
