Duties

• Represent clients in regulatory proceedings at the California Public Utilities Commission on various issues.
• Engage in matters before the California Energy Commission and other regulatory bodies.
• Negotiate energy-related contracts, including power purchase and interconnection agreements.
• Advise developers on generation, storage, and transmission projects.
• Identify and anticipate developments in utilities regulations.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Self-starter with client-facing experience.
• Track record in energy and utilities law.
• Experience with the California Public Utilities Commission is preferred.
• Active member of the California State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
