Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced defense litigator for a Senior Associate/Counsel position in South San Francisco. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote, hybrid, or onsite, with access to the firm's South San Francisco office as needed.

Duties

• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Drive litigation strategy and represent clients in various legal proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue disposition motions.
• Prepare cases for arbitrations, mediations, and trials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of defense litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Experience in general liability, retail liability, transportation defense, and/or product liability is a plus.
• Strong writing skills and strategic thinking ability.
• Experience representing companies and insurers in a defense-side practice preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.

Skills

• Strong advocacy and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
