A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Litigation Attorney for a fully remote position within the United States. The role involves advising employer-clients on compliance with employment laws and defending them in court and administrative proceedings nationwide.

Duties

• Advise clients on federal, state, and local employment law compliance.
• Defend clients in court and administrative proceedings.
• Investigate and draft EEOC position statements and DOL audit responses.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery in employment litigation.
• Conduct witness interviews and factual investigations.
• Provide strategic legal advice on employment law issues.
• Review and revise employment policies and handbooks.
• Draft responses to demand letters and pre-litigation demands.
• Manage discovery, including objections, responses, and document review.
• Handle single-plaintiff employment litigation matters independently.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction in good standing.
• Minimum of five years of experience in employment law, including civil litigation.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
