Duties

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including admissions, interrogatories, and disclosures.


• Manage hearings, mediations, depositions, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.


• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs while analyzing case law, statutes, and regulations.


• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and communicate effectively with clients and managing attorneys.


• Manage a diverse caseload, meet strict deadlines, and mentor support staff.


 

Requirements

• Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.


• Exhibit the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


• Work independently and collaboratively as a contributing team member.


• Maintain regular attendance and meet time-sensitive deadlines with reliability.


 

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.


 

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Nebraska.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
