A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join its Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in commercial litigation, creditors' rights, commercial collections, workouts, and real estate foreclosure. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload from initial referral through final resolution, collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and support staff in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Manage commercial litigation, creditors' rights, and collection matters from inception to resolution.
• Handle all aspects of real estate foreclosure, including title review and statutory notices.
• Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Appear in Massachusetts state and federal courts for various proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel and other parties to resolve disputes.
• Develop strategies for litigation, foreclosure, collection, and settlement.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the Massachusetts Bar in good standing.
• Admission to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in commercial litigation, creditors' rights, and real estate foreclosure.
• Familiarity with Massachusetts civil litigation and foreclosure procedures.
• Ability to manage cases and deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
