A law firm seeks an Alcohol Beverage Regulatory Associate in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will have over one year of experience in alcohol beverage law and regulatory compliance, handling matters such as state and federal licensing, three-tier distribution compliance, and trade practice restrictions. Experience with mergers and acquisitions involving licensed entities is also desirable.

Duties

• Manage state and federal licensing, including TTB permits and state licenses.
• Ensure compliance with the three-tier distribution system.
• Advise on trade practice and tied-house restrictions.
• Handle labeling and formula approvals.
• Draft and review franchise/distribution agreements.
• Support mergers and acquisitions involving licensed entities.
• Assist with general corporate and commercial matters for alcohol beverage clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in alcohol beverage regulatory law.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and state alcohol beverage control agencies.
• Ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Outstanding judgment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Interest and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Education
