A law firm seeks a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join their Corporate Practice Group in San Diego, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated capital markets transactions, including debt and equity offerings, with direct client exposure and mentorship.

Duties

• Handle '33 and '34 Act matters.
• Manage capital markets transactions such as IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Oversee high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings.
• Conduct private placement offerings.
• Advise on corporate governance and SEC reporting matters.
• Manage exchange listing matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in capital markets financings and governance/SEC reporting.
• Confidence in managing client relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under time pressure.
• Admission to the bar in the state of application.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
