A law firm in Berwyn, PA, seeks a mid-level associate attorney to join its employment law practice. The firm represents employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, offering a collaborative environment with direct client contact and meaningful responsibility for litigation matters.

Duties

• Represent employers in employment litigation across federal and state courts and administrative agencies.



• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses, including those involving electronically stored information.



• Take and defend depositions, conduct legal research, and prepare substantive written work.



• Participate in trials, hearings, mediations, and court conferences while advising clients on employment law matters.



• Investigate harassment or discrimination claims and prepare employment policies, agreements, and handbooks.

Requirements

• Three to five years of litigation experience with significant focus on employment litigation.



• Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars is required.



• Experience representing employers under Title VII, ADA, FLSA, ADEA, FMLA, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act.



• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills with the ability to assume substantial responsibility for cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Skills

• Proficiency in handling discovery of electronically stored information (ESI).



• Strong oral advocacy and client communication abilities.



• Ability to work collaboratively in an in-person office environment.
