Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney to join its Houston, TX office. The successful candidate will manage a docket of estate planning matters, including trust-based and will-based plans, and meet monthly production targets. Newly licensed attorneys are welcome, though prior estate planning experience is preferred.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of estate planning matters, including trust-based and will-based plans.
• Meet directly with clients to recommend appropriate documents and tools.
• Draft and finalize estate planning documents accurately and efficiently.
• Meet monthly production targets with bonus pay for exceeding them.
• Collaborate with case managers and other attorneys to ensure smooth case progression.
• Contribute to firm templates, checklists, and workflows.
• Encourage client feedback and reviews.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas, or eligible within 60 days.
• Strong attention to detail and client communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems.
• Located in the Houston area with availability for regular in-office attendance.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong drafting and document production skills.
• Comfortable using secure AI tools for document review.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage a full caseload.
