Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Transactional Attorney to join its downtown Hartford, CT office. This mid-sized firm offers a collaborative environment with a focus on professional development and career advancement. Partial remote work arrangements are considered for the right candidate.

Duties

• Manage and execute commercial and corporate legal transactions with increasing responsibility.



• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, including M&A, commercial contracts, and financing documents.



• Provide strategic legal advice to internal clients and external stakeholders on corporate matters.



• Conduct due diligence and manage transactional workflows from inception to closing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or corporate law, with a strong emphasis on transactional work.



• Experience with M&A, commercial contracts, or financing transactions is preferred.



• Private fund experience is considered a plus.



• Strong drafting, advocacy, and organizational skills with excellent judgment.



• Ability to connect with and develop positive relationships with a variety of internal clients.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Connecticut Bar in good standing, or the ability to become admitted promptly.
