A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Litigation Associate for its Nashville, TN office. The role involves handling complex IP disputes, TTAB proceedings, and portfolio management within the Financial Services & Capital Markets sector. Candidates with three to seven years of experience are preferred, with a strong emphasis on proactive problem-solving and exceptional judgment.

Duties

• Manage a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including large domestic and international portfolios.


• Handle proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and domain name disputes under UDRP.


• Lead anticounterfeiting enforcement efforts, including drafting and responding to demand letters.


• Provide litigation support, manage copyright registrations, and handle licensing and technology agreements.


 

Requirements

• Three to seven years of experience in trademark and copyright litigation is preferred.


• Trademark litigation and TTAB experience is a strict threshold requirement.


• Must hold an active bar license in the state of application or commit to obtaining one promptly.


• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.


 

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.


 

Certifications

• Active state bar license required or commitment to obtain immediately.
