Duties

• Draft motion papers, pleadings, memoranda of law, and appellate briefs for state and federal courts.
• Conduct effective legal research using Westlaw.
• Prepare discovery demands and responses, with proficiency in e-discovery.
• Conduct depositions, with first chair experience preferred.
• Communicate effectively with international clientele.

Requirements

• Proficiency in New York State and Federal civil procedure.
• Experience with various phases of litigation and arbitration.
• Ability to handle multiple cases under pressure.
• Impeccable attention to detail and legal analysis skills.
• Admission to New York State and Federal Courts; New Jersey admission is a plus.

• Excellent academic background.
