Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Irvine, CA to support and assist in representing clients in state and federal plaintiff's-side wage-and-hour, class, and representative action litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Assist with deposition preparation and attendance.
• Prepare for and appear at court hearings.
• Communicate with clients under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in California or pending admission to the California Bar.
• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, including discovery, oral advocacy, and motion practice.
• Experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage and hour litigation is a plus.
• Ability to travel on occasion.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
