Duties

• Manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear in court for hearings and trials.
• Participate in mediations and arbitrations.
• Work directly with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Help develop litigation strategy.
• Contribute to the growth of the litigation practice.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
• Minimum of two years of civil litigation experience.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters.
• Professionalism, initiative, and sound judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
