A law firm seeks an experienced Social Security Disability Attorney to join its Knoxville, TN office. This role offers the opportunity to manage a robust, pre-generated caseload without the need for business development. The ideal candidate is driven, collaborative, and dedicated to advocating for clients navigating complex disability claims in a high-volume, office-based environment.

Duties

• Represent clients through all stages of Social Security Disability claims, from initial filing to final resolution.



• Prepare clients for hearings and advocate effectively on their behalf before Administrative Law Judges.



• Develop legal strategies, compile evidence, and build compelling cases to secure benefits for clients.



• Manage a substantial caseload while maintaining exceptional client service and communication.



• Collaborate closely with case managers and support staff to ensure efficient case progression.

Requirements

• Hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and possess an active license in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.



• Demonstrate prior experience handling Social Security Disability hearings and managing high-volume caseloads.



• Exhibit outstanding communication, advocacy, and client relationship skills.



• Show strong writing, organizational, and case management abilities.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Existing Social Security Representative ID (preferred).
