A law firm seeks an experienced energy regulatory attorney for its Energy Practice in Buffalo, NY. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals on diverse matters across the Northeast.

Duties

• Represent clients in administrative, siting, and permitting proceedings.
• Handle regulatory approval processes under relevant Public Service Laws.
• Engage with ISO/RTO tariffs and interconnection processes.
• Participate in NYSERDA programs and ESCO regulatory matters.
• Assist in utility rate cases and energy asset transactions.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in New York State or eligible for waiver.
• Four to eight years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in proceedings before New York State energy agencies.
• Experience with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission proceedings is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
