Duties

• Represent clients through all phases of litigation.
• Manage cases from inception through trial with a supervising partner.
• Take and defend depositions, and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Research and argue motions.
• Interview witnesses and experts and negotiate with opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, and trial-related documents.
• Assist with employer investigations and alternative dispute resolution matters.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and a desire to succeed.
• Ability to manage responsibilities while collaborating with attorneys and clients.
• An interest in education law is a plus.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
