A law firm seeks an experienced Social Security Disability Attorney to join its growing practice in Augusta, GA. This role allows attorneys to focus on advocacy and case management rather than business development, supporting a mission-driven team dedicated to consumer rights.

Duties

• Represent Social Security Disability clients through all stages of their claims, from initial application to final resolution.



• Prepare clients for hearings and advocate on their behalf before Administrative Law Judges.



• Develop legal strategies, prepare evidence, and build compelling cases to secure benefits for clients.



• Manage a substantial caseload while maintaining exceptional client service and collaborating with support staff.

Requirements

• Hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and possess an active license in good standing with at least one US state bar.



• Demonstrate prior experience handling Social Security Disability hearings and successfully managing a high-volume caseload.



• Exhibit outstanding communication, advocacy, and client relationship skills, with strong writing and organizational abilities.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Existing Social Security Representative ID (preferred).
