Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Fund Finance Associate for its Washington, D.C. office to join a dynamic finance group. The successful candidate will represent financial institutions, alternative lenders, and investment vehicles on diverse fund finance products and derivatives transactions across various asset classes.

Duties

• Represent clients on highly structured and bespoke fund finance transactions, including NAV, subscription, and asset-backed financings.
• Draft and negotiate complex financing documents for secured lending and derivatives matters.
• Collaborate with a team focused on serving financial institutions and alternative lenders.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in fund finance, secured lending, or derivatives.
• Experience with NAV financings, subscription financings, or asset-backed financings is required.
• Must be admitted or eligible for admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active or eligible admission to the Washington, D.C. Bar.

Skills

• Strong ability to draft financing documents for complex, multi-party deals.
• Proficiency in handling highly structured and bespoke financial transactions.
• Knowledge of various asset classes and derivative products.
