A law firm in Temecula, CA seeks an Associate Family Law Attorney to manage high-asset divorce, custody, and support matters. The role offers substantive courtroom experience and direct mentorship from the managing attorney within a supportive team environment.

Duties

• Manage a family law caseload from initial filing through final resolution, maintaining regular communication with clients and ensuring timely case progression.



• Appear at RFOs, DVRO hearings, settlement conferences, and trials in Riverside County Superior Court to advocate for client interests.



• Handle complex property issues, including business valuation, characterization, tracing, and support calculations based on non-W-2 income.



• Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, and discovery responses while coordinating with forensic accountants, 730 evaluators, and vocational experts.

Requirements

• Active California State Bar license with 2-5 years of family law experience.



• Demonstrated courtroom experience in California family court proceedings.



• Strong legal writing skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Interest in pursuing Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) status is preferred.
