A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate to join its Lancaster, PA office. The role involves working within a collaborative real estate practice, focusing on zoning, land use, and development matters. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in law firm settings, representing various stakeholders in land use and transactional real estate matters, particularly in development projects. Familiarity with Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code and local zoning regulations is preferred.

Duties

• Represent clients in zoning, land development, and land use matters before municipal boards and governing bodies.
• Advise clients on zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Assist with due diligence and regulatory review for real estate transactions and development projects.
• Draft and review zoning applications, land development submissions, and related documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on land use and real estate issues.
• Attend public hearings, municipal meetings, and client meetings.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing in Pennsylvania.
• At least two years of law firm experience in real estate matters.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
