A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Denver, Colorado, to join its civil litigation defense practice. The ideal candidate will handle general liability and construction defect matters, collaborating with lead attorneys on complex cases for domestic and international insurance carriers. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, rapid response investigations, and comprehensive litigation management from initial case evaluation through trial presentation.

Duties

• Manage all phases of litigation, including rapid response investigations, case evaluation, discovery, depositions, and trial presentation.



• Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality written materials to support client objectives and case strategy.



• Collaborate closely with lead attorneys and cross-office teams to ensure effective case management and client service.



• Prepare case reports and maintain compliance with carrier billing and reporting guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado; no exceptions.



• 2-5 years of experience handling general liability and construction defect litigation matters.



• Strong background in insurance defense litigation is preferred.



• General familiarity with carrier billing and reporting guidelines is desired.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Colorado State Bar license.
