A law firm seeks an Environmental Transactional and Regulatory Associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join their Environmental practice in New Haven, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising clients on complex environmental and regulatory matters, including transactions, compliance, and enforcement.

Duties

• Advise clients on environmental transactions and due diligence.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage enforcement matters.
• Handle permitting and site remediation processes.
• Engage with state, federal, and local environmental regulatory agencies.
• Participate in administrative proceedings and litigation.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in environmental transactional and regulatory matters.
• Ability to manage matters independently and proactively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Admission to practice law in Connecticut; dual admission in New York and/or Massachusetts is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Connecticut Bar.
