Job Overview

A law firm seeks a real estate associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Dallas, TX. The role supports a national hospitality and leisure practice, representing hotel owners, developers, investors, and lenders in sophisticated transactions.

Duties

• Negotiate hotel management agreements and handle acquisitions, dispositions, and financings for hospitality assets.



• Advise developers on condominium, mixed-use, and master-planned community projects, including drafting easements and declarations.



• Manage the full lifecycle of transactions, from structuring and diligence through development, operation, and disposition.



• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and property management agreements.

Requirements

• Substantive experience with hotel transactions or developer-side work on complex residential and mixed-use projects.



• Ability to manage multiple transactional workstreams effectively while maintaining sound judgment.



• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.



• Experience with real estate development and joint venture transactions is a plus.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) of admission.



• Timely admission to the Bar of Texas is required as a condition of employment.
