Job Overview

Duties

• Assist the Managing Attorney with administrative tasks, document review, and drafting agreements.



• Communicate effectively with clients, other attorneys, and potential clients regarding ongoing matters.



• Support law firm marketing efforts and engage in foundational corporate and contract work.



• Conduct legal research and ensure high-quality drafting with excellent grammar and spelling.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas and based in the state.



• Demonstrate ambition, reliability, and integrity in a fast-paced, growing practice.



• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and organize complex files efficiently.



• Strong preference for candidates with a background or interest in venture capital law.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar license in Texas (Required).

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



• Strong proficiency in legal research and software applications.



• Spanish language proficiency is preferred.



• Foundational understanding of corporations and contracts.
