A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Litigation Associate for its Providence office. The role involves handling complex intellectual property disputes, TTAB proceedings, and portfolio management within the Financial Services and Capital Markets sector. Candidates with three to seven years of experience are preferred.

Duties

• Manage domestic and international trademark and copyright portfolios, including disputes and licensing agreements.



• Handle proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and domain name disputes under UDRP.



• Lead anticounterfeiting enforcement efforts, draft demand letters, and provide litigation support.



• Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services and Capital Markets business unit on diverse IP matters.

Requirements

• Three to seven years of experience in trademark and copyright litigation is preferred.



• Trademark litigation and TTAB experience are threshold requirements for this role.



• Active bar license in the state of application or commitment to obtain one promptly.



• Ability to articulate legal strategies and handle multiple projects under pressure.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited institution with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
