Job Overview

A law firm in Cinnaminson, NJ, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to manage a diverse caseload in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Probate. The role involves representing clients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, handling consultations, and leading support staff to deliver high-quality legal services in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Duties

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including the Chancery and Law Divisions in New Jersey and the Register of Wills and Orphans' Court in Pennsylvania.



• Draft and prepare comprehensive estate planning documents, such as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and Guardianship Pleadings.



• Advise clients on business and legal transactions, negotiate settlements for disputes, and ensure strict compliance with all relevant legal standards and regulations.



• Manage client relationships through in-person consultations and oversee paralegals and support staff to address client legal needs effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years of legal experience, with 2-3 years in Elder Law preferred.



• Active bar admission and good standing in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.



• Proven ability to build rapport with clients and convey empathy during challenging times.



• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and case management software (e.g., Amicus Attorney).



• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, precision, and results.



• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, stable, and ethical environment.
