A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Associate with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience to join their team in West Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trademark and copyright matters, including prosecution, strategy, and enforcement.

Duties

• Manage domestic and global trademark prosecution and strategy.
• Conduct trademark counseling, clearance search, and analysis.
• Handle trademark disputes and general enforcement matters.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate IP-related agreements.
• Conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Represent clients in disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

Requirements

• 3-4 years of intellectual property experience in private practice.
• Excellent organizational, technical, and professional skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
• Proven problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
• Self-starter with strong client service skills and attention to detail.
• Bar admission in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
