A law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel with over six years of experience to join its Structured & Warehouse Finance Team in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing lenders, borrowers, issuers, or other market participants in mortgage finance and structured finance transactions.

Duties

• Take a significant role in transaction execution, including coordinating deal teams and working directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage transactions involving repurchase agreements, warehouse credit agreements, and other secured lending facilities.
• Represent clients in mortgage finance and structured finance matters, with a focus on repurchase facilities.

Requirements

• Over six years of experience in structured finance and mortgage finance transactions.
• Meaningful experience in drafting and negotiating repurchase agreements and warehouse credit facilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex deal teams effectively.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Experience with syndicated facilities and intercreditor arrangements is desirable.
• Ability to work directly with clients and opposing counsel in high-stakes transactions.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
