Duties

• Research, draft, and argue motions in Florida state courts.



• Draft and respond to written discovery requests and objections.



• Take and defend depositions of witnesses and parties.



• Manage smaller litigation matters with limited supervision.



• Collaborate with the team on larger, complex matters.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.



• Strong academic record and excellent research and writing skills.



• Drive and commitment to becoming a partner at the firm.



• Experience with construction, real estate, or landlord/tenant disputes is strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting legal motions and discovery documents.



• Ability to take and defend depositions effectively.



• Strong project management skills for handling multiple matters.



• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
