A law firm seeks an experienced Associate in San Francisco, CA, to join its Corporate Privacy and Cyber practice group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, and AI-related legal matters, providing counsel on compliance and transactional issues.

Duties

• Advise clients on data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI compliance.
• Negotiate privacy, security, and AI components in commercial agreements.
• Manage privacy and cyber aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A and IPOs.
• Lead projects with minimal supervision and meet multiple deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of relevant legal experience.
• Proven experience in product counseling and commercial contracts.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• CIPP certification preferred.
