A law firm seeks an entry-level corporate associate to join its General Corporate practice in Seattle, WA. The associate will engage in a variety of corporate matters, including startup and venture capital representation, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets work, serving clients from early-stage startups to publicly traded corporations.

Duties

• Assist in startup and venture capital representation.
• Participate in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Engage in capital markets and public company work.
• Support niche corporate practice areas.

Requirements

• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in a corporate or transactional practice is a plus.
• Must have sat for the July Bar Exam or be eligible for the next available bar exam.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of application or eligibility to sit for the bar exam.
