Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Litigation Associate to join its Phoenix, AZ office. The ideal candidate will possess three to seven years of experience, with a preference for those based in Nashville or open to remote work via The Link. This role involves collaborating with the Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit to manage complex intellectual property matters.

Duties

• Manage domestic and international trademark and copyright portfolios, including TTAB proceedings and UDRP domain name disputes.



• Handle anticounterfeiting enforcement, draft and respond to demand letters, and provide litigation support.



• Oversee copyright registration processes and manage trademark and copyright licensing and technology agreements.

Requirements

• Three to seven years of experience in trademark and copyright litigation is preferred.



• Trademark litigation and TTAB experience are threshold requirements for this position.



• Must hold an active bar license in the state of the assigned office or commit to obtaining one promptly.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Exceptional judgment and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.



• Superior interpersonal skills with a demonstrated record of working well under pressure.



• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously with proactive and entrepreneurial initiative.
