Job Overview

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for a wide variety of family law matters.



• Conduct client interviews, manage case strategy, and negotiate with opposing counsel.



• Represent clients in courtroom proceedings and handle estate planning services.



• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely progress on all assigned matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a strong interest in family law or estate planning.



• Active license to practice law in the state of Missouri.



• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients during emotional situations.



• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be admitted to the Missouri State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy.



• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.



• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and contribute ideas.
